A blockchain is an online database that stores information. This information is stored in blocks and these information blocks are strung together like a chain (blockchain). When data is added or removed from a blockchain, the information changes everywhere. This makes it completely transparent and decentralized and, for example, it is not possible to spend the same crypto coin twice.
